Suzanne Ciani & Metropole Orkest - Seashore (Live at Melkweg ADE)
Suzanne Ciani & The Metropole Orkest, conducted by Simon Dobson, are this year's official opening concert of the Amsterdam Dance Event. This is the opening piece (one of nine pieces) 'Seashore'. The waves you're hearing in this piece all come from the Buchla 200e, the modular analogue synthesizer from American electronic music pioneer Suzanne Ciani. On the projection screen, you can see her operating the Buchla.
