Practical Entering, Trapping, and Striking Tips in Karate - Chris Hanson

🔥SUMMARY Coach Shawn Lawlor (Fundamental Movements Gym) asked me "How can I work my outside game better from a striking perspective"? I decided to visit him and share what I know about entering, trapping, and striking from a Karate lens. In this video, I demonstrate some practical tips on how to enter, trap, and strike using Karate Kihons (basics from Kata). My ideas are nothing new. You can find them in any martial art or combat sport. Give them a try, spar with them, train with resistance, then modify anything you want according to your own needs. ⏰ TIME-STAMPED CONTENTS: 0:00 Intro 0:16 Trapping - limb manipulations 2:01 Elbow pick from Naihanchi Kata 3:00 Stances as Spears: smash entry tools 3:24 Foot sweeps to leg picks from Naihanchi 4:29 Unattached striking - Ed Parker Kempo Contouring Concept 5:46 Conclusion 🎼MUSIC USED IN THIS VIDEO: Track: Cyber Warrior — Iaio [Audio Library Release] Music provided by Audio Library Plus Watch:    • Cyber Warrior — Iaio | Free Background Mus...   Free Download / Stream: https://alplus.io/cyber-warrior Song: LiQWYD - No?
