Isomeria

In this video, we address the topic of isomerism. We'll start with the general concept of isomers, which are molecules that have the same molecular formula but differ in structure or the spatial arrangement of their atoms. We'll first analyze structural isomerism, distinguishing between chain, position, and functional group isomerism, to understand how the connectivity of atoms can change while maintaining the same molecular formula. We'll then move on to stereoisomerism, examining the difference between conformational and configurational isomerism. In the latter, we'll look at geometric isomerism and, briefly, optical isomerism. The goal of this video is to help you sort through the various classifications, fully understand the theoretical differences, and be able to recognize them.
