One Day-ish Make || 1950s petticoat for under $10

Hellllooo all. I decided 2 days before I made this that I needed more floof in my life. Namely, skirt floof since I have much Cat Floof already- see evidence at end of video. The solution to this problem? Make a 1950s style cotton petticoat on a budget, of course. I also figured, why not try to sew it in one day? key word: try. Turns out vintage petticoats have a lot of gathering, which I am slow at. I ran to Joann Fabrics and obtained the following: 3 Yards of white leafy cotton for like $2.5 a yard (make sure to use a coupon) https://www.joann.com/quilters-showca... Simplicity 8456 for $1.5- pattern sales ftw deep deep rage because I foolishly went to Joann Fabrics during the holidays But hey at least I got a new, very cheap petticoat out of it, and it's not scratchy because I didn't use tulle. Now to go make all of my dresses and skirts extra...well, extra! Links!
