Madeira Fun, Day 3 (boat trip, local food,Balcoes hike, Miradouro do Paredão de Cima & Nuns Valley)

Day 3 in Madeira 🇵🇹🌴 was full of adventures and amazing food! We started the morning with homemade omelettes and breakfast on our balcony with beautiful ocean views ☀️🍳 Then we headed out early for a dolphin boat trip along Madeira’s south coast. We were lucky enough to spot dolphins and even stopped for a swim in the Atlantic Ocean 🌊🐬 The water was around 17°C — freezing but totally worth it with those incredible coastal views! After the boat trip we had lunch at Taberna do Petisco, a restaurant recommended by a local — and it definitely did not disappoint 🍽️🔥 Later we did the Balcões hike, one of Madeira’s easiest but most rewarding walks. The viewpoint overlooks Madeira’s dramatic green valleys and mountain peaks, and on clear days you can even spot rare native birds flying around the area ⛰️🌿 We ended the day visiting Miradouro do Paredão de Cima and Nuns Valley. This time the weather was completely different than usual — full of clouds with almost no visibility down into the valley ☁️ But honestly, it made the experience even more unique and atmospheric in its own way.
