Youths in the Country have been advised to participate actively in various sport activities for them to contribute to National Development. The Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers Alh. Dr, Yahaya Abubakar stated this during the final International Horse Racing Derby Theme Renewed Hope Bida 2026. Alh. Yahaya Abubakar said traditional institution would collaborate with National sports commission to afford the younger generation the opportunity to be self-reliant. In an interview the National Coordinator of the horse racing federal Alh. Abubakar Mustapha Bida said the tournament was to bring peace, unity and mutual understanding in Nigeria and beyond. Alh.
