Avery has faced significant medical challenges throughout her life, but after being cleared to begin physical activity, she discovered a deep love for gymnastics. In a short time, she progressed into competitive gymnastics and began dreaming big in the sport she loves. Through Kids Wish Network, Avery and her family traveled to Houston for a once-in-a-lifetime wish experience.
