I got the inspiration for writing the tune from an early morning walk on the beach after the last night of the Willie Clancey week back in 2017. A couple of us avoided being hit by big waves trying to get around the cliff face onto a rock ledge and a few of us got absolutely soaked . We also encountered a seal on the way back home which was a nice surprise. It was an absolute pleasure working with these amazing musicians and Alex Borwick and Alan Doherty did a superb job recording and filming the track .
