Delivering Pearson Edexcel International A Level English Language Paper 2 Effectively

This online event is designed for teachers who are moving to Edexcel or delivering the Pearson Edexcel International A Level English Language specification for the first time. This will support you in getting ready to teach the International A Level English Language specification, with a particular focus on Paper 2. During this training delegates will, • Discuss the assessment objectives: what are they and why they are used when writing examination papers. • Analyse a recent question paper and learn which types of question match the different assessment objectives. • Investigate how questions have been answered by looking at feedback from previous exam series. • Discuss strategies for teaching to try and make sure students can access questions targeting different assessment objectives. • Network, discuss best practice and share ideas with other teachers. https://qualifications.pearson.com/en..."
