In the early days, calves died, the person I bought feed from said, ‘I won’t send you feed anymore,’ and my animals were on the verge of starving to death. But I never gave up on either shepherding or my passion for production,” says Kolat, summarizing his love for livestock farming. Today, he owns a huge farm with 3,150 milking cows, producing 44 tons of milk per day and making his own feed.
