In Nepal, when a private or personal video of someone gets leaked online, people call it a “Kanda.” But what we often forget is that behind every “kanda” is a real person, someone’s daughter, sister, friend whose life is turned upside down. This isn’t just a scandal. It’s a form of digital violence. It causes deep emotional trauma, shame, and lifelong consequences for the survivors. 📢 Understand the harm. 📢 Don’t stay silent. 📢 Speak up when you see abuse online. 📢 Document and report it. 📢 Help survivors find support, not shame.
