In the Studio | Samuel Ross on Industrial Abstraction in His Art, Fashion and Design
Before the inaugural UK edition of The Jar of Love Fund in 2024 (brought to you by Sotheby’s, ARTNOIR and SR_A) we sat down with artist and designer Samuel Ross, MBE, in his London studio. Raised by two painters, the arts have always been central to Ross’ expression. Whether it’s a painting or a garment or an object of design, “each art form speaks to another art form” in his multidisciplinary practice. Today, his artworks sit within the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Victoria & Albert Museum permanent collections, and his objects of design include LVMH group watches and fragrances.
