Everything went wrong in qualifying – I couldn't find any grip, and when I went out for the decisive third attempt, I was literally one second short of crossing the line before the session closed. As a result, I only finished 5th at the start of the first race. But that was just the tip of the iceberg. The worst nightmare happened a minute before the start of the first race. I was getting ready to go, and my battery just completely died. And then there were many more problems throughout the stage. This is clearly a test of endurance. Yes, Maxim Soldatov is currently leading the championship, he has a lot of points, and all he needs to do is drive consistently. I have nothing to lose – I'll just enjoy the ride and get the most out of it. Ahead is St. Petersburg, a high-speed track.
