Western Province Live Steamers - National Steam Meet - 2017
On March 25, Western Province Live Steamers hosted the annual 2017 national steam meet in Parow, Cape Town. The event saw visiting locomotives from all over South Africa, the most impressive being a South African Class 15CA. True to the actual full-size prototype the model had an impressive bark stealing the show in my opinion. Participants camped on the club's grounds for the duration of the event. WPLS is one of the few clubs able to host this event as they boast three popular modelling gauges.
