Breads purchased: Pumpkin Anpan (238 yen), Brown Rice Ogura Butter (227 yen), Curry Bread (303 yen) "Pain d'or Marutake" is about 10 minutes from Tsurumai Station on the JR Chuo Main Line. Its chic exterior and interior make it seem like you're on a street corner in France. They also have a wide selection of hard breads. Breads purchased: Milk France (330 yen), Cheese and Tomato Bread (420 yen), Patissiere (310 yen), Olive (255 yen) "Nakaya Pan" is a long-established bakery founded in 1936. Located right in the heart of the city near Imaike Station (and just a one-minute walk from the station), this shop boasts warm, Showa-era bread. The prices are reasonable, too!
