La belleza del ALTIPLANO BOLIVIANO 🚴‍♂️ · Ruta 27 y 430 | Proyecto Ciclovida (E2 C77)

In this episode of CicloVida, we reached a special milestone: 9,000 km cycled! 🚴‍♂️ We crossed the heart of the Bolivian Altiplano along routes 27 and 430, from Cosapa to the Quillacas Sanctuary, passing through several towns such as Turco, Andamarca, Orinoca, and Pampa Aullagas. All of this during Carnival season, when culture and traditions are even more alive. Along the way, we experienced all sorts of things: we discovered a miniature church, slept under the road, and even received a kind ride from a truck driver. Nature gifted us with unforgettable scenes: rheas running across the plains, llamas and vicuñas everywhere, sheep, and a mysterious animal we could never identify (it looked like a cross between an armadillo and a weasel! 😂). We also crossed unique landscapes: giant rocks, salt flats, dunes, reddish hills with incredible shapes, chullpas (pre-Incan burial towers), quinoa fields, lagoons with flamingos… a true natural spectacle. It wasn't all easy: getting supplies in this remote area became a constant challenge, so much so that we even made a trip to Oruro in search of provisions.
