Tameshigiri Guinness World Record (Re-Edit) - 1000 Cuts "Senbongiri"
In 2000, Russell McCartney Sensei of Ishiyama-ryū broke the Guinness World Record for the most consecutive cuts (1181) with a Japanese sword and set the fastest time to complete 1000 cuts at the Seattle Cherry Blossom Festival. Note: This is a re-edited version of the original senbongiri video. I selected some new cut sequences and attempted to clean up the video quality.
