[Reporter] Candidates for the leadership of the Democratic Party of Korea visited 'Jungwon,' where the first touring primary is taking place this weekend, to target votes. As the initial results could establish a 'momentum' for a specific candidate, they appear to be engaging in an all-out effort. Candidate Jeong Cheong-rae, a native of Geumsan, South Chungcheong Province, introduced himself as the "Son of Chungcheong" and asked for votes. Regarding the 'Shincheonji intervention allegations,' which have emerged as the biggest issue of the convention, he increased the pressure, demanding that candidate Kim Min-seok, who raised the suspicions, provide evidence. [Jeong Cheong-rae / Democratic Party of Korea Representative Candidate (YouTube 'Choi Wook's Maebul Show'): I believe that if a swift investigation reveals the claims to be baseless and preposterous, the person involved should be disciplined. I consider this to be misconduct.] Candidate Kim Min-seok, who visited a meeting with party members in North Chungcheong Province, expressed displeasure regarding the claim that this constitutes misconduct, calling it the logic of the People Power Party and a foolish sophistry. He also struck at Candidate Jeong Cheong-rae's sensitive point, stating that he would cleanly conclude the alliance with the Cho Kuk Innovation Party and begin the party's all-out expansion.
