Top 10 Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal Music

With better soundquality for the Gameboy Color came somewhat more complex music. Some songs have a pretty cool bassline you can hear if you play the game with one earpiece. But I do have to say that this generation was the least interesting to me, musicwise. There were more songs I liked, but less I really liked. Runners up: Radio: Unknown Frequency (Ruins of Alph) Buena's Password Legendary Pokemon Battle Dragon's Den #11: Had to include this one. It plays when you use the GB Sounds on Route 47/48 in Heart Gold or Soul Silver. It's in the old GBC style and I love it. But since it isn't really a Gen II song I didn't include it in the actual top 10. #10: Such a shame they gave one of the most useless characters in the game such a nice theme song. #9: A perfect tune for a peaceful little park to just hang around in. #8: The thing that fat guy says makes this theme that much better. It really gives you that adventurous feeling that a whole new road is up ahead, leading to your destiny and shit. #7: Plays when you talk to the Kimono Girls before you battle them. It's a really overlooked theme, mostly because it's so short, but really neat all the same. #6: Another Credits theme. Sue me. #5: While most other Trainer themes (from the other games) are mostly pretty generic, this is actually kind of an epic song. The bass line in particular is awesome. #4: Along with the silence before the fight itself this music makes the final battle that much more epic, both with Lance and Red. Too bad they took the silence away in the remakes... #3: Not much to say, other than it's a cool song for a pretty cool place. With the mutated dragonfishmonsters and such. #2: "You have saved our land from the evil Team Rocket and become the Champion. Protagonist, thank you." #1: Oh God I love this song. If it wouldn't be so morally wrong they should play this at every casino in Vegas. Go check out PokeRemixStudio's second remix of this song, the piano part is just great. It's fun, it's catchy, and it's my pick for the number one song of Generation II.
