The 100 Year Flood in The Mohawk Valley
In late June, 2006 devastating flooding took place along the Mohawk River and the Erie Canal system of locks in upstate New York. Much property including the CSX railroad line that runs along the river was heavily damaged. The flooding was not just limited to this area as the weather system would dump copious amounts of rainfall on several other regions of New York. However as a local resident, the region nearest me is documented in this video, which combines my video, photos along with graphics from various internet sources.
