「トラクションを広範囲に使って安心で楽しく!」|RIDE LECTURE 110|RIDE HI
This is the third installment of our series on how to safely and enjoyably ride around blind curves on mountain roads when touring, where you never know what kind of curve lies ahead. This time, we'll show you how to utilize the "traction" effect of accelerating while turning to increase stability, grip, and even enhance your turning style in various situations. The rider we'll be teaching is Chika Okaya, a former female motorcycle police officer. A technician who competed in national motorcycle police competitions, she will be serving as an instructor for the practical course of RIDE HI's "RIDE LECTURE." Even she hasn't had many opportunities to ride on winding roads, and she was "surprised and delighted" by the challenge of the various curves, big and small, that come one after another, and how much fun it is to tackle them. Next time, we'll continue our lesson on how to interpret blind curves that come into view, so stay tuned! --- Why not experience "turning" for yourself at a circuit driving event that's open to beginners!? Take lessons from Nemoken "BIKE GATHERING" https://ride-hi.com/event-info/ -- What is a RIDE LECTURE? Nemoken teaches you how to ride a sports bike at a RIDE LECTURE. It's called "Rylec" for short. Cast: Teacher: Nemoken (Ken Nemoto, former GP rider, RIDE HI producer, and 62-year motorcycle rider) Students: Chika Okaya (a former female police motorcycle patrol officer who competed in the national motorcycle championships, serving as the instructor for the "RIDE LECTURE" practical course) Not only beginners, but even experienced riders who only occasionally ride will encounter situations that they find difficult or uneasy. At times like these, you might think that because you're not yet familiar with motorcycles, you'll eventually get used to them and become proficient with repeated riding... but that's a mistake. If you don't understand and understand why each riding technique is effective, you'll just keep making the same mistakes and never improve. Also, don't practice in a way that makes you feel scared. The best way is to build up your skills in a way that doesn't make you anxious, while feeling the difference when you get it right. The enjoyment of riding a motorcycle is multiplied many times when you ride the way you want. We hope you'll master the various tips we're sharing with you, with the goal of making that your motorcycle life.
