Cornbread Dressing - Moist and Delicious Crockpot Recipe - Steph’s Stove

Cornbread Dressing 1 cornbread pone crumbled 1 small package Pepperidge Farm Herb Stuffing mix 1 tube Ritz crackers - crushed 5 eggs (slightly beaten) 1 stick butter melted ½ stick butter divided (for top of dressing) 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can evaporated milk 1 small onion diced very small ½ cup celery diced (about three ribs of celery) 32-40 oz chicken broth 1 teaspoon black pepper ** Reserve about 3 tablespoons of uncooked dressing mixture for gravy. In a large mixing bowl, crumble cornbread, stuffing mix, and Ritz crackers. Add eggs, melted butter, chicken soup, milk, onion, celery, and black pepper. Mix to combine and add enough chicken broth to create a loose consistency. Spray your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray and pour mixture into the Crockpot. Top with ½ stick of butter cut into small pieces placed on top of the dressing mixture. Set the Crockpot to HIGH and cook for 3 hours. Dressing will be moist and delicious. Enjoy with or without gravy.
