Stage 4 of the SPAR Swiss Epic wasn’t about who crossed first it was about who refused to quit. It was challenging but also Epic. For the pros, the Scaletta Pass was a battle. For the rest of us? It was about overcoming the cold, rain, and doubt. The climb kicked hard at 2,606 metres. The storm hit harder. We huddled in an alpine hut, soaked to the bone, sharing snacks and stories with total strangers. Then, back on the bike legs burning, gears grinding until Davos finally appeared through the mist.
