We're not just another generic pagan band. For 31 years I've worked in the same factory with the four onion rings. For 27 of those years, I've been on the night shift. When others go to bed, my day is just beginning. Amidst steel, machinery, noise, cold lights, and long hours, I've learned to keep going – even when my body is tired and my mind desperately needs rest. I trained as an energy systems electronics technician. Factory work isn't some made-up backdrop for me. It's been with me for decades and has shaped a large part of my life. In this song, three worlds collide: my job, my passion for artificial intelligence, and Heid’n Ruaf. From shift work, music, and AI, a video has emerged that deliberately looks different: no forest, no fire circle, and no contrived Viking world. Instead, car body shells, robots, doors, metal, stage lighting, and music collide. But this song isn't just for people in factories. It's for everyone who fights every day. For those who get up early or stay up all night. For those who bear responsibility. For those who are tired and still keep going. For those who often achieve more than others ever see. For those who might not be whole – but are still here. That's also why there's sometimes less Heid’n Ruaf than I'd like to deliver. Sometimes, after a shift, there's no energy left for comments, stories, or new posts. Behind every song is more than just music. Behind it is real life. A shift schedule. Tiredness. Responsibility.
