The Counter Attack Checklist
Counter-attack requires urgency, accuracy and optimism. How to identify or create counter-attack opportunities as a team is something every player needs to understand, from 1 through to 15. It requires a mindset shift from defence-into-attack and in super quick time, with everyone 'singing from the same hymn sheet' in order to be effective. If the counter-attacking team can become stable in their attack while the opposition is unstable in defence, opportunities will present themselves.
