In this excerpt from my conversation with Alina Dumitrache, PhD in Educational Sciences, psychotherapist and mother of three teenagers, we talk about the relationship between parents and children, about the moments when we feel like we don’t know what to ask anymore and about the difference between control and connection. We discussed at BADASSMOM about the questions that bring teenagers closer to us, the mistake of “back in my day” comparisons and why so many parents silently wonder if they did the right thing.
