Famiglia con due figli sfrattata: in quattro costretti a vivere in macchina

Since the beginning of October, they've been living in their car in the parking lot in front of the Marano town hall in the province of Naples. They're a family of four, the parents with a 27-year-old son and a 30-year-old daughter, who were evicted from their home because they could no longer afford the rent. Luigi Raiano tells us his family's story: "I worked in a restaurant and lost my job four years ago. I never thought I'd end up sleeping in my car." The family survives thanks to the solidarity of several residents who donate meals or money. "We asked the authorities for even temporary accommodation," Mr. Raiano explained, "but they told us there's nothing available for now."
