It is not covered in standard angelology. It might be considered a Liminal Lord, or a Lord of the In-Between, even the King of Purgatory — Purgatory not as a punishment realm, but as a Realm of Refuge, similar to the ancient Biblical “Cities of Refuge.” It stands as a legitimate third option, or alternative option, to the above or below, and to what those outcomes bring in various forms. The names have shifted because this being has worn many different faces and names across various cultures of human history.
