※We were given permission by the guarantor of the property prior to filming. --------------------------------------------------------------- Even after Kansai Clean Service, a professional clearing company, cleared the home, it was still full of belongings… The client (woman, 40s) had a lot of items that, despite wanting a clean home, she couldn’t bring herself to throw away. The items were what made her realise she was having gender identity issues many years ago. She is a transgender woman. We were given special access to the show venue the client works at, based in Minami, Osaka. The venue is called Jordan Pub (The Pub of Comedy) and they hold shows performed solely by “newhalfs” or men who have become women. In this video, our focus is on the client’s story and the full clearance of her hoarded home. About Jordan Pub The venue that cooperated with our filming, Jordan Pub is based in Minami, Osaka and was established in 1982. All shows are performed exclusively by newhalfs. As per its name, it’s focus is on “jordan” or comedy and so the shows they hold are full of humour and they also offer a unique food menu to enjoy while watching. They also hold special events.
