Will Pound - LA BOTTEGA DE JA' - CASTAGNARI

Will arrives from Kenilworth, a town near Birmingham. His story begins like everyone else's, no one excluded, with the first tiring breath. The air enters, the air leaves, and we begin to live. Then we forget about it. But for Will, after an open-heart surgery, that simple thing had become difficult. It was his father who first gave him a harmonica and then a small accordion, to help him with his breathing exercises. The air enters, the air exits. And so on, with each breath, with each bellows stroke, two different notes mark for Will the rhythm of music and that of life, whether it's dance or waltz, blues or an overwhelming tango. What's the Bottega de Ja'? It's a collection of stories, where the stories are music. Improvisation. Casual encounters. All inside of a small workshop, the same that belonged to grandpa Ja'. The same seaport. Castagnari's workshop.
