Garlasco: Chiara lottò fino alla fine. Andrea Sempio usò il martello e si ripulì a casa dalla nonna

This morning we wake up to the Pavia Prosecutor's Office's reconstruction of what happened that morning of August 13, 2007, when Chiara Poggi's life was shattered. According to what emerged overnight, published by La Stampa, Chiara tried to defend herself. She fought her killer until the very end. The new dynamics of the multi-stage murder, reconstructed by the Pavia Prosecutor's Office, overturn those found in Alberto Stasi's convictions, for which the Milan Prosecutor General is now considering a request for a retrial. This is the result of cross-referencing the expert opinions requested by the prosecutors on the traces of blood and shoe prints photographed at the time in the Poggi villa, as well as analyses conducted by pathologist Cristina Cattaneo. According to the prosecution, on the morning of August 13, 2007, Sempio approached the victim to attempt a "sexual approach." He knew she was alone in Garlasco and that her entire family was on vacation in Trentino. The twenty-six-year-old had already woken up, turned off the alarm, and let the cats out through the unlocked door. Once inside the house, when the victim refused, Sempio allegedly attacked her. First with his bare hands, near the sofa, then with a weapon that the Carabinieri Homicide Unit of Milan, led by Commanders Antonio Coppola and Fabio Rufino, believe to be compatible with the dovetail hammer the Poggi family reported missing after the crime. However, this weapon has not been found nineteen years later. Chiara tried to escape through the front door while the killer was attacking her. She tried every way to defend herself. She struggled. She was repeatedly blocked, as evidenced by the marks on her ankles and the DNA traces on two fingernails on both hands. After pushing her down the cellar stairs, according to the prosecutor's office headed by Fabio Napoleone, Sempio apparently stopped for a moment. He apparently washed his hands in the kitchen—not the bathroom. Investigators believe the bathroom sink had never been used, as evidenced by the absence of bloody traces. The killer apparently only approached it to look in the mirror and see how dirty it was. A trace of blood, however, was found at the time right under the kitchen sink, where the fingerprints suddenly stopped. This is because, it was discovered, the mat in that room had never been analyzed or subjected to luminol. Then, with his hand still wet, Sempio apparently returned to the basement stairs and leaned against the wall to see the victim, thus leaving the now-famous "print 33," the "wet" trace that the RIS (Italian Special Investigative Committee) already assumed at the time was the killer's. The final blows to the victim, the fatal ones, were apparently inflicted at the bottom of the stairs before fleeing and going to clean himself, according to the prosecution's reconstruction, at his grandmother's house, which lives four hundred meters from the Poggi house. That's not all. According to Cattaneo's analysis, the killer's famous shoeprints that nailed Stasi at the time would in fact be perfectly compatible with Sempio's shoe size, who wears a size 42 or 43. At this point, after all the work of those who investigated and fought to bring justice to Chiara Poggi, what should we expect from those who are trying to hide the truth in any way possible? We expect their next step will be to discredit everyone by every means possible, not only those of us who work in the media and who believed in this new investigation, but above all the magistrates, the Carabinieri, the consultants, and the lawyers who have shown, with their work, that Alberto Stasi should not have spent the last eleven years in prison. ---------------------- See you this evening on Twitch for all the details.
