Southwark Bridge is a road and foot traffic bridge in London, England. It crosses the River Thames close to the Tower of London and has been a major bridge on the Thames since the 19th century. The bridge is a major thoroughfare for vehicle traffic, providing direct access to the City of London, the South Bank and the Docklands. It also provides pedestrian access to the south bank of the Thames and its many attractions. Southwark Bridge is a stunning sight to behold, with its graceful arches and elegant ironwork. As well as providing vehicular and pedestrian access, Southwark Bridge is a great place to take a leisurely stroll. The bridge offers a unique view of the River Thames, with its many bridges and the bustling life on the riverbanks.
