I am old, and my wife is advanced in years.” 19 The angel answered, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God; I have been sent to tell you this good news. 20 Behold, until the day it happens, you will be speechless and unable to speak, because you do not believe my words; but when the time comes, my words will be fulfilled.” 21 The people They waited for Zechariah, and wondered that he was delayed in the temple. 22 When he came out, he could not speak to them, so the people thought he had seen a vision in the temple.
