🇳🇱 Out of service for 64 days: Groningen Station Cabview to Zwolle 2025

Welcome aboard for an amazing journey across the Netherlands! It's been a while since I took you on my sprinter from Groningen to Zwolle. Before departure, I'll show you how far the work on Groningen station has progressed. The station will soon be out of service for 64 days due to these works. Construction has been going on for years now. A tunnel will be built under the tracks, the station roofs will be restored and an underground bicycle shed will be built. The bus stop will be moved to the south side and the station square on the north side will once again become a magnificent entrance to the city. The best improvement is that regional trains can now continue directly from east to west and vice versa. Good job Prorail! Will you ride with me again today? Today is March 27, 2025 and we'll drive sprinter 6128 from 8:02. We'll be on time everywhere. On the way, we'll again pass dozens of large stork nests that have been built into the overhead lines.
