The National Police have arrested Álvaro Pasquín Mora in Madrid, known as the "Tattoo Fugitive," who was wanted for sexual abuse in 2017. He was located just ten days before the statute of limitations expired. The investigation into this individual began in 2020, when a judicial request for his arrest was issued. After all usual investigative avenues were exhausted, he was included in the "Ten Most Wanted" campaign. For the past five years, the fugitive had been hiding in a shed at the back of a house in the Colonia Jardín neighborhood of Madrid, where he ordered food delivery under a false identity to avoid leaving the house or interacting with anyone. He also changed his appearance by dyeing his hair long and blond to avoid being recognized. During this time in isolation, he spent his time watching movies and playing video games. He subsisted on profits from online businesses.
