BNSF 5256 Manifest Train East | Avena Rd. Railroad Crossing, Escalon CA

Dec 23, 2025 1:49pm After Amtrak, this BNSF Railway manifest freight train eastbound or directional southbound passes through the Avena Road railroad crossing on the BNSF Stockton Sub in Escalon, California outside of town. This crossing is also planned to be double tracked and has a new relay case control box that's not wired up yet. It appears the double tracking here may shift to the opposite side of where I'm standing here as the new relay case is in the spot where the double tracking South of here would go so this means they are going to shift over the main line here which makes since as the Escalon Siding that's getting extended is on the West side of the main and the Lake Siding is on the east side of the main.
