Favorite GA Non-Superheroes, Cracking CGC Slabs & More | Viewer's QA June 24, 2026

#comicbookcommunity #comiccollecting #comickeys My viewers asked the following questions, which I'll answer in this video: what are your top 5 or 10 non-superhero golden age characters What are the advantages/disadvantages of an older CGC slab vs. advantages/disadvantages of a newer CGC slab? When do you consider a slab to be too old? (where cracking and re-slabbing is not something you want to do)? Also, what is your opinion about re-slabbing after a certain period of time? What is your strategy for Heritage auctions? Do you go to the auction looking for specific comics or do you scroll through the entire auction to find items? I accidentally bought 2 copies of the Adventure Comics 210 facsimile reprint of the first appearance of Krypto. Inside the front cover of one of them is a golden dog biscuit that says "sorry you did not win" instead of the normal ad from the time. It appears this was a sweepstakes to watch the premier of Superman. Why did some of the comics have the normal ad and some have biscuit? Would you still buy a golden age Superman book slabbed with brittle pages? What advice/tips would you give a person who is just starting to collect comics? What Todd McFarlane book would you get signed that's different but still unique? address the many different types of pedigree books that you own? Should we replace our individual book collections with trade paperback (or hard cover) collected editions? One long box of trades can be hundreds more issues than a box of single books. You still have the original cover art work and story, so why not exchange singles for collected editions? Comment on this video and I'll answer your question next week and give your channel a shout out. To learn more about Stackry and support the channel visit: https://www.stackry.com/register?refe...
