In October 2021, we participated in a demonstration organized by Agrifac and the Polish company SatAgro, specializing in satellite field monitoring. During the meeting, the practical use of task maps in the Agrifac Condor 5 self-propelled sprayer was demonstrated. Thanks to the latest application management technology, the Agrifac Condor 5 sprayer can achieve high accuracy and real savings. The Agrifac Condor sprayer can operate based on task maps created from crop data obtained from satellite, drone, or camera images. Depending on the accuracy of the task maps, the technology used allows the sprayer's boom to be divided into 25 cm wide sections, meaning each individual nozzle can be used as a separate section. During the demonstration, the sprayer operated using a task map prepared by the Polish online platform SatAgro, with a resolution of 3 x 3 m, which allowed the boom to be divided into 3-meter sections – meaning 12 independent sections on a 36-meter-wide boom. During the two-month demo tour, Agrifac specialists used the SatAgro platform and emphasized that creating a task map is very simple and takes about 15 minutes. Watch a report from the demonstration.
