You reach for the phone, and remember. The world tells you to move on, as if love were a place you could simply walk away from. But Rumi whispered something gentler. Something truer. He said: don't grieve. Whatever you have lost has not left the hands of God. It has only changed its form. The rain that vanishes into the dark earth returns as the rose. The wave that leaves your shore has only gone home into the sea. And the one you love they were never taken from Love. They were taken into it. This song is for everyone who has lost someone they love. For everyone who still sets the table for two. For everyone who prays into the silence and wonders if the one they miss can hear them. They are not gone.
