Little did I know that this year would be totally different! I somehow found myself within meters of a wild Cuckoo and it was at eye level! Probably mt best bird photography moment so far as I managed to photogrpah a Cuckoo, Redstat and magpie all in one day. In this video I head out with my trusty Canon 7DMK ii & 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS USM II Lens in search for the elusive Cuckoo! Bird photography is challanging but wildlife never stops to amaze me and keeps surprising me when I least expect it! This Cuckoo is one of four species of cuckoo. The only species of cuckoo that can be found in the UK. Cuckoo's arrive in the UK in late March/early April and they will depart in July/August time. Cuckoo offspring will depart a month later, leaving sometime in september.
