Derrick Henry Highlights - Yulee High School

Derrick Henry was one of the top athletes in the Class of 2013. At 6'3 and 215 pounds with track speed, Henry put up Techmo Bowl numbers at Yulee High School. He finished his high school football career with 12,124 career rushing yards, which was a record. But there was some question about how his style would translate to the next level. He had the ability to run around and by everyone in high school, but could he develop the toughness he would need in college? He answered those questions with a resounding "yes". Derrick Henry won the Heisman at Alabama in his third season after rushing for over 2200 yards and 28 touchdowns. He still had doubters heading to the NFL. He fell to the 45th pick in the Draft (Tennessee Titans). Henry had solid 1st and 2nd seasons in the NFL before breaking 1,000 yards his third season and over 1,500 yards his fourth year.
