The Yak-9K Is Still Broken

War Thunder players have grown to utterly despise the Soviet Yak-9K fighter with its 45mm APHE firing cannon, which can easily decimate tanks from the air. The WT devs moved it up to a battle rating of 5.0 to try and fix how overpowered it was, but it is still broken enough that you can fight cold war tanks easily.
