Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park
Self-taught scientists and engineers, Wilbur and Orville Wright taught the world how to fly and are one of Americas greatest success stories. It all happened here at Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park in Dayton, Ohio where the Wright brothers built, tested and flew what would become the worlds first practical airplane. This includes Huffman Prairie Flying Field at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and the original 1905 Wright Flyer III airplane, restored under the close direction of Orville Wright himself. This short video is a bonus feature from the "Wright Brothers: On Great White Wings DVD" and is available on location and from www.finleyholiday.com. "On Great White Wings" is the amazing story of the Wright brothers and their quest to fly. It is the official theater presentation at the National Park Service visitor center in the park.
