Martin Productions. 2024: In an effort to save these DVDs from digital rot, the Wilkes Genealogical Society is attempting to extract these videos from the originals DVDs and remastering them. This includes deinterlacing techniques, removing video artifacts, using various filters to enhance the video, and using AI algorithms to convert to High-Definition Video. The Original video is a 4:3 aspect ratio with a pixel resolution of 720 × 480. The audio bitrate was 128 . The updated video maintains the 4:3 aspect ratio transcoded to a high-definition resolution of 2048 x 1152. The new format is MP4 for the video and 192 bitrate AAC for the audio.
