[LIVE FROM JAMAICA] --- Bishop Dr. G. G. Cooper November 15, 1950 – April 8, 2026 Bishop Dr. G. G. Cooper, a Jamaican by birth, migrated to Canada and became a Canadian citizen. He received a supernatural call from God to preach and evangelize at an early age. During the social and political turmoil of the 1980s, Bishop Cooper was divinely inspired by God to return to his homeland of Jamaica. In the midst of social disorder and corruption, he established a ministry that grew to include seven assemblies and numerous outreach ministries across the island, including cable television, radio, prison ministry, and other evangelistic initiatives. A graduate of Central Bible College, Bishop Cooper received his Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) from Ministry International Institute (MII) in 2008. Throughout his ministry, he traveled extensively and preached on nearly every continent of the world, including the United States, Canada, Japan, Iceland, France, the Bahamas, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Haiti, Greece, Germany, Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, the Fiji Islands, and Puerto Rico. His later official international travels included visits to Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and Nairobi, Kenya, where he met with and advised state, local, and government officials. Bishop G. G. Cooper served as the International Presiding Bishop of the Apostolic Church of God 7th Day Worldwide Fellowship, which spanned approximately forty countries around the world. Through his visionary leadership, faithful ministry, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel, he left a lasting legacy that continues to impact lives across the nations.
