ALONE IN ICELAND | A Filmmaker's Solo Journey

Alone in Iceland is an observational film following my solo journey around one of the most extraordinary landscapes on Earth. Over 12 days, I travelled across Iceland's Ring Road, volcanic fields, mountains, waterfalls, Northern Highlands, coastal plains, glaciers and remote wilderness with a camera in hand, documenting not only the country itself but the challenges of filming alone in constantly changing conditions. Battling snowstorms, powerful winds, rain, ice, hail and long days on the road, this film explores Iceland through the eyes of a filmmaker. It's a story about adventure, resilience, solitude and the search for perspective amongst some of nature's most powerful landscapes. More than a travel film, this journey became a chance to slow down, reconnect with nature and reflect on life's challenges, losses and the people who continue to shape us long after they're gone.
