We spent a romantic morning at Adene’s Farm Flowers near Villa Bois du Sud in Gauteng, South Africa — only to discover it was the very last day of the cutting season. That means no more dahlias at the Villa until spring. After picking our final blooms, we dropped the flowers at the Villa, enjoyed lunch at Doppio Zero, and ended the day with roses from Woolies to complete our arrangements.
