The walk follows the eastern paths from the lower paddies up to a small temple, then back along a higher road with views over the valley and the distant mountains. Jatiluwih has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2012, as part of the Cultural Landscape of Bali Province: the Subak System as a Manifestation of the Tri Hita Karana Philosophy.
