Fliegenfischen am Untertalbach

Simone and Elmar Elfers were guests at the Gasthof Tetter in the summer of 2024 (www.tetter.com). The house is a family business and is lovingly run. The Fischer - Gasthof Tetter has existed since 1910 in the 4th generation of the Meißnitzer family. It is part of the Abenteuer Fischwasser offer (www.fischwasser.com). Fly fishing in Styria is simply fantastic. The mountainous landscape, the good food and the many waters for fly fishing for trout and char ensure a relaxing holiday. The fly fishing area on the Untertalbach is seven kilometers long. The water is crystal clear and the fish are often cast at sight. Beginners or fly fishing professionals don't really need waders. Fishing is only permitted with flies and barbless hooks. If you hike from the end of the valley up to the Riesachsee, you can also fish in the lake with other artificial baits. Only flies and barbless hooks are permitted at the inlet and outlet of the lake. The kitchen at Gasthof Tetter boasts a variety of regional cuisine and beef from our own organic farm. Everything is just right here.
