As a European, I had never heard of Eugene Bullard, the Black Swallow of Death. The first Black combat pilot in history, a hero of France, and a man America forgot for decades. Reacting to The Fat Electrician's incredible video, I could not believe this story isn't taught everywhere. Eugene Bullard flew for France in WWI when the U.S. wouldn't let him serve. Boxer, soldier, spy, jazz musician, and aviator, his life reads like fiction, but every word is true. This is the hero America forgot, and honestly, the world forgot too.
